Redemption Ranch Ministries
A Texas Nonprofit Ministry

Rest for the weary.
Hope for the broken.
The gospel for all.

Redemption Ranch Ministries cares for those who care for others — pastors, missionaries, and ministry workers — and carries The Redemption Story of God's faithfulness through tragedy into churches across Texas.

Two callings

One heart, two hands.

Born from tragedy and shaped by the gospel, RRM exists first to walk with those who give their lives in ministry — and to carry Christ's redemption forward in every season the Lord opens.

01 Building a refuge

A retreat for ministry leaders.

We're renovating the ranch house right now. Day retreats open summer 2026; the ranch house opens fall 2026. Bunkhouses, cabins, and a barndominium follow in the years after — room enough for solo pastors or a full ministry team.

02 Telling the story

The Redemption Story.

Through gatherings, rodeo partnerships, and ranch-based outreach, we share the testimony of God's sovereignty — how He works through suffering and displays His glory in the gospel of Christ.

For those who carry burdens

Ministry is costly.
There is a place to rest.

Quiet

Solitude with the Lord

Time set apart from screens, demands, and decisions — space to be still and remember whose you are.

Prayer

Counsel and care

Walking alongside ministry leaders with pastoral care, scripture, and the gospel of Christ.

Renewal

Body and soul rested

Meals, walks, sleep, sky — the deep, ordinary mercies of God's creation, freely given.

Our Founder

Dr. Kennon Vaughan — the pastor who lived.

Lead pastor at Harvest Memphis and founder of Downline Ministries. RRM was born of a plane crash in a Yoakum pasture that he should not have survived — and the year in a hospital bed that followed.

The roadmap

A ministry taking shape.

We're in the middle of something, not the end. Here's what's coming — and how you can walk with us through it.

  1. Right now

    Renovating the ranch house.

Stripping it back and rebuilding it for hospitality.

  2. Summer 2026

    Day trips open.

    Fishing, four-wheelers, fire pits, sunrises.

  3. Fall 2026

    Ranch house opens.

Overnight stays for a single guest, a couple, or a small team.

    See the timeline →
  4. Early 2027

    The next gathering.

A second Redemption Story on the Yoakum pasture.

    About the event →

Bunkhouses, mini cabins, a barndominium, and horse stables follow in the years after (2027–2029).

Reach out

If you are weary, come.
