Privacy Policy
Last updated April 24, 2026
Redemption Ranch Ministries ("RRM," "we," "our," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you interact with our public website and the internal management application used by our staff and board (collectively, the "Services").
1. What we collect
From visitors to our website
- Information you provide when you contact us or request a retreat (name, email, phone, message content).
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) used only to keep the site running and secure.
From donors and supporters
- Name, mailing address, email, phone, and gift history — typically entered into our accounting records (QuickBooks Online) by our administrator or CPA.
- Pledge commitments and donor notes recorded by our staff.
From QuickBooks Online
Our internal application connects to RRM's QuickBooks Online account through Intuit's authorized API. When connected, it reads (but does not write) the following types of records: chart of accounts, classes, customers (donors), vendors, payments, sales receipts, invoices, deposits, bills, purchases, and journal entries. We do this to produce donor statements, board reports, and internal dashboards. We never sell, rent, or share this data with third parties for marketing.
2. How we use information
- To issue 501(c)(3)-compliant year-end giving statements to donors.
- To produce internal financial reports for the board of directors.
- To steward the ministry's finances and communicate with donors about their gifts.
- To respond to retreat requests and other inquiries.
- To comply with applicable law (including IRS reporting requirements for a 501(c)(3)).
3. How we store and protect information
Information is stored in encrypted databases operated by reputable cloud providers. Access to the internal application is limited to authenticated RRM administrators. OAuth tokens used to connect to QuickBooks Online are stored encrypted at rest and are subject to Intuit's rotation requirements.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate the Services:
- Intuit QuickBooks Online — our authoritative accounting system of record.
- Hosting and database — cloud infrastructure providers used to run the application.
- Email delivery — used to send statements and notifications, if applicable.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising networks that track you across other sites.
5. Your choices
- You may ask us to correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing hello@redemptionranchministries.com. Please note that IRS recordkeeping rules may require us to retain donation records for audit purposes.
- If you prefer not to receive communications from us, let us know and we'll remove you from our list.
6. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
